What is Evaporator Coil?

The indoor coil that absorbs heat from the air. It condenses moisture continuously through the cooling season, which makes it the one place in the system where growth reliably takes hold, and a fouled coil raises pressure drop and cuts capacity. Many complaints blamed on ducts are actually a dirty coil or blower wheel.

The standardised scale for how efficiently a filter captures particles.
Pressure Drop
